Rowland's Creek causeway reconstruction

A causeway located on Rowland's Creek approximately 3.2 kms along Rowland's Creek Road from Uki was considered to be a major barrier to fish passage. This barrier limited the migration of fish species such as Australian Bass, Freshwater Mullet and Striped Mullet. The old causeway was replaced with box culverts, opening up 20 km of upstream habitat for native fish. Completed in 2011.
